Started in 1980, Rohtak is one of the most diversified plants — serving 20+ customers across 15 product lines. It is fully equipped from Hot Forging to Machining and all types of finishing, forging ~2550 tons of steel per annum.

Products include Axles, Shafts, Dowel Pins, Bushes, Sprockets, Rack & Pinions, Tubular components, Sleeve Spark Plug, Cylinder Head Bolts & Studs, Shaft Rocker Arm, Standard & Special Fasteners and Starting Mechanisms. Three decades of know-how drive effective in-house automation and cost-economic solutions.

AK Automatic – I is the parent and founder setup — the main torch-bearer for the entire MT Group. It started in 1969 making Tractor Parts at Rohtak, moved into 2-Wheeler components in the 80s, and by the late 90s was a renowned component manufacturer.

Focused on precision machined, heat-treated & ground items, a 900-strong team delivers more than 3.5 million parts every month — high-precision Bushes, Axles, Ratchet Pinion Tappet Screws & Nuts, Gear Shifting Rods, Kick Shaft Assemblies, Sprockets, Flange Cam Shafts and Brake Cams.

An extension of AK-I, started in 2012 at Rohtak to expand operational capacities. It added SQF machines, a Continuous Mesh Belt Furnace, Rotary Furnace, LCN, a fully automatic Trivalent Plating plant and Dacro Coating.

Specialty operations include continuous MIG welding for Ratchets & Pinions and very-high-precision Collar Bush grinding to 10 microns. It also machines ~3.6 million gear blanks/year to feed sister plants for Transmission Gears, with a 900-strong workforce.

One of the most versatile plants of the group, covering Cold Forged Spline Shafts to fully finished critical Scooter Transmission Assemblies. Hot Forging from 250–1600 Tons (~600 tons/month) plus Multi-Station Part Formers and Spline Extrusion Presses.

With a state-of-the-art Gear Manufacturing Shop and 450+ people, it produces >2000 scooter transmission sets/day. Products include Sector Gear Assemblies, Kick Shaft Assemblies, Balancer Shafts, Crank Shaft Sprockets, Transmission Shafts & Gears — backed by a CAD/CAM/CAE tool room.

Started in 2005, Chakan was the first to manufacture fully finished & assembled Transmission Gear Train Assemblies for motorcycles, and is an expert in Gears & Shafts.

It is establishing a fully automatic line equipped with Fanuc Robots for loading/unloading and auto-gauging that feeds the CNC system online for best-in-class Cp/Cpk. The plant has developed transmission assemblies for 390CC (export), 200/150/125 CC (domestic) and supplies them in millions.

Started in 2007 as a dedicated facility for Bajaj Auto at their Pantnagar Vendor Cluster, on a 5-acre plot in SIIDCUL Industrial Park. MTP is a state-of-the-art infrastructure that has achieved the BAL TPM Excellence Award.

It mainly produces Transmission Assemblies, Kick Shaft Mechanisms, Sprockets, Column Bearing Races, Gear Starter Clutch and various turned, heat-treated & ground components — with an in-house fully automatic Zinc Plating plant.

Started in 2010, Nalagarh is the largest plant in the MT Group on 16.5 acres of fully developed land. MTN is a State-of-the-Art mega facility with strong capacities in Cold Forging, High-Speed Hot Forging, CNC Machining & Gear Manufacturing — including 40+ multi-station part formers and Hatebur & Schuler transfer presses.

It houses Gear Shaving, Teeth Grinding & Burnishing machines from REISHAUER, SAMPUTENSILI & ESCOFIER, plus Fine Blanking up to 800 Tons. With 60 T/day heat treatment, it processes ~1300 tons of material/month, serving Honda Motorcycles, TVS Motors & Bajaj Auto.

Started in 2010 as a dedicated facility for Hero MotoCorp at their Haridwar Vendor Cluster, on a 3-acre plot in Hero Realty Industrial Park, with all-round expertise in Machining, Heat Treatment, Welding and finishing.

It mainly produces Front & Rear Sprockets, Gear Starter Assembly, Tappet Screws & Nuts, Spindles and various turned, heat-treated & ground components — and was recently certified with the Green Vendor Award from Hero MotoCorp.

Started in 2002, Barotiwala was the group's first long-distance expansion — commissioned to support the founder plants in Forging & Machining. Today it runs end-to-end Cold Heading, Hot Forging, Part Forming, Machining, Heat Treatment and Finish Machining.

It manufactures ~24 million 2-Wheeler Axles per annum — arguably the single largest in the world in this category — and Hot Forges ~2300 MT/year. Specialty: Cold Forming of Ratchet Teeth & Gear Kidneys, plus Kick Shaft Assemblies, Column Steering Races, Gears, Shafts and Cam Brakes.
